bitter, acrid warm and aromatic

味苦、辛﹐温，香。

Actions & Indications:

transform phlegm and rids of dampness and stagnation in spleen and stomach indigestion, flatulence, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation.具有燥濕消痰，下氣除滿之功能。
用於濕滯傷中、脘痞吐瀉、食積氣滯、腹脹便秘、痰飲喘咳。

1. the decoction in test tubes show that it had strong inhibition of Staphylococcus aureus

Eudesmol, alpha-pinene, Beta-pinene, p-cymene; 1, 4-cineol; alpha-limonene, carene-3, linalool, beta-bisabolene, terpinen-4-ol, alpha-terpineol, bornyl acetate, linalyl acetate, caryophyllene, alphe-humulene, alphe-copaene, aromadendrene, alloaromadendrene, alpha-cedrene, elemeol, Globulol, alpha-santalol, butylidenecyclohexane, guaiol, beta-guaiene, Cardinol, guaiazulene.
