主治﹕

For rheumatoid arthritis, relieving pain, injuries. Mostly used in pill or powder form: 1.5 g to 3 g.

袪風濕, 止痛. 用於風濕疼痛, 跌打損傷. 劑量 1.5~3g, 多入丸散服 .

Chemical ingredients:

podophyllotoxin (根及根茎含鬼臼毒素)﹐deoxy-podophyllotoxin(去氧鬼臼毒素)﹐isopicropodophyllone(異苦鬼臼酮)﹐hyperin(金絲桃甙)

Dosage:

in decoction: 3 to 10 grams

內服入煎劑，常用量3～10克。

Toxicity:

毒 性 :

Discomfort in the upper abdomen, mild diarrhea, pain in the lower abdomen, headache, dizziness. Large amount causes coma, shock, paralysis in the limbs and serious injury in the brain. 

主要有上腹不適﹑輕度腹瀉﹑下腹疼痛﹑頭痛頭暈‧大劑量會引起昏迷﹑休克﹑四肢癱瘓和腦部嚴重受損 . 
輕 者 停 藥 或 減 量 , 症 狀 即 可 消 失 . 大 劑 量 者 則 洗 胃及 搶 救 . 

Large dosages and/or long term usage can be toxic to kidneys.

大劑量或長期服用可能對腎臟有毒。

Treatment of Toxicity:

解 救 方 法 :

In mild cases, stop using the herb or decrease the dosage then symptoms will subside. In case of large dosage, promote vomiting.

輕 者 停 藥 或 減 量 , 症 狀 即 可 消 失 . 大 劑 量 者 則催吐或 洗 胃 .
